For the past two years, I've had the honor and privilege to be one of the participating photographers in an all woman collective called BLACK MAGIK WOMAN. For this years concept, I wanted to shoot something a little different than what I'm used to. I wanted to get up close and personal with my model, Jenessa, and photograph the beautiful but unique features of her body. I think the female form has been a source of incredible inspiration through the ages, but also the subject of great controversy. I wanted to photograph her in a way that honored and celebrated her figure, but was not objectifying.
